EMI Planner ("we", "our", or "the app") is a free loan EMI calculator built for Indian borrowers. It is a calculation and planning tool only — it does not provide loans, financial advice, or connect you with any lender. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data stays on your device, the limited data you can choose to send us, and your rights.

2 Data We Collect

The app does not require an account or login. Everything you enter — loan amount, interest rate, tenure, income, saved plans, and settings — is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us or to any third party.

We do not collect:

• Your name, phone number, or location
• Your loan amounts, income, or any financial figures
• Advertising IDs or device identifiers
• Usage analytics or crash reports

3 Feedback You Send

If you use the "Rate & Send Feedback" option and submit the form, we send the following to our feedback server so we can fix issues and improve the app:

• The star rating you select
• The message you type
• Your platform (e.g. Android) and the app version

We do not attach your loan data, income, or any advertising or device identifier to feedback. Sending feedback is entirely optional. Please do not include personal or financial information in your message.

4 Local Storage

Saved loan plans and preferences are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. This data is only accessible within the app, is never uploaded, and is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear the app's data. We have no access to it.

5 Permissions

The app uses an internet connection only to send feedback you submit and to use the share feature, and it uses vibration for haptic feedback. EMI Planner does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or location.

6 Third-Party Services

EMI Planner contains no third-party advertising, analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting software. Feedback you submit is sent to our own server, not shared with any third party.

7 Children's Privacy

EMI Planner is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect any data from children.

8 Data Security

Your loan and financial data stays on your device, so its security depends on your device's own protection — we recommend keeping it locked with a PIN or biometric lock. Feedback you choose to send is transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.

9 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with a new "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
